I’m planning a trip to Europe and would like to purchase a global Eurail pass. When I visit the site, it says that adult 1st class tickets are for 26 and older and youth 2nd class tickets are for 25 and under. I’m 25 (and will still be when I travel) and would like a 1st class ticket. Can I buy a regular adut 1st class ticket? I think I’d be able to, but just want to make sure that it’s just an optional 2nd class discount being offered to the young instead of a forced class distinction by age. Thanks.

What is the best option for me in terms of a weekly ticket to purchase. I saw terms like oyster, travel card etc. and am totally confused. Also do I need a special ID to avail student discount?
