Go Western This Spring Break: Houston Livestock Show

If you’ve never been to a rodeo show, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo may be just the destination for you this Spring Break.

The Livestock Show and Rodeo has been entertaining visitors for over seventy years. It is known as having the “world’s largest livestock exhibition” and is considered one of the best entertainment venues in Texas.

Beginning March 3 through March 22, this is one Spring Break vacation you will remember for a lifetime.

To begin with, there are the exciting rodeo competitions and livestock competitions where exhibitors from across the U.S. compete in categories such as “From Bulls to Llamas” and for the title of champion.

Munich, Germany: An Oktoberfest Vacation

A Visit to Munich during Oktoberfest

A family vacation to Munich during Oktoberfest is something all of you are going to love. Every year almost 6 million people from across the globe visit this amazing place. A sample six-day itinerary with important features is given below.

The visitors, just like the locals, get a chance to choose among 14 different tents including Braeurosl, Hofbräu Festhalle and Hacker-Festzelt.

 

On Day 4 you are on your own for shopping and sight-seeing. You can visit the museums, see the landmarks, or relax at German cafes and restaurants. It is advisable to take a map along so that you don’t get lost while on your way back to the hotel.

On Day 5 you go with your fellow travelers to visit Schloss Neuschwanstein – world famous castle of Bavaria. You can climb up to the bridge for a breathtaking view of the castle and to take amazing photos. You will also be escorted inside by your guide where you will see the Throne Room and Singer’s Hall in addition to lovely paintings, a bedroom and a kitchen. When viewed from a distance it resembles the sleeping beauty castle in Disney Land which was built as an inspiration of this great castle.

Day 6 will be your last day in Munich as the guide will arrange for your travel back home. These 6 days in Munich during Oktoberfest will be remembered by your entire family for a long time to come.
