Disneyland Paris 4th of July Summer Fireworks

If you are planning a trip to Paris during the Fourth of July holiday, you may want to start off your trip by spending a few days at the Disneyland Paris Hotel.

With a free stay for kids under seven years of age, this may prove to be a great bargain.  The Disneyland Paris hotel is the perfect place to begin your vacation.  Moreover, it is just a steam train away from the park’s entrance with its many and unsurpassed amenities.

There are dozens of attractions available at the park and it is divided into five major areas:  Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland.  After you’ve explored some of these great attraction sites, you can top off this exciting vacation with the Fourth of July fireworks display over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

But there is so much more to do and see in Paris, the City of Lights.  This includes the Palace at Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, the outdoor cafes and shops along the Rue de Rivoli, and a visit to Tuileries gardens.

Accommodations are aplenty depending upon your budget.  You can opt to stay at the George V near the Arc, or opt for the Ares Tour Eiffel.  No matter what hotel you choose, you are never far from the extraordinary array of attractions you can access in this city.

There are also a myriad of sightseeing tours available, including the DaVinci Code Walking Tour where you will walk the same path that Robert Langdon took as he searched for the hidden clues as outlined in the book of the same name.

There is also a complete tour of Paris which includes such places as the Opera, Place Vendome, Concorde Square, the tree-lined streets of the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Sorbonne, the Pantheon, and much more.

You can book a day tour of the Palace of Versailles.  This is an extraordinary tour where you can explore the amazing gardens, visit the Hall of Mirrors inside the palace, and view the many rooms that make this Palace so manifique!

You may not be able to see everything, but you can be assured you will never forget this City of Lights nor the amazing sites and sounds that entice travelers to return year after year.

Walt Disney World Orlando

A weekend family getaway to Orlando doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Airfares are very affordable right now and you can easily book flights and hotel accommodations either online or through your travel agent.

Depending upon where you decide to stay (either close to the park or further away), you can expect to pay anywhere from $316.00 to $583.00 per person. This is not only an affordable weekend getaway, but an exciting one for the entire family.

For example, for $316.00, you can stay at the Legacy Grand Hotel and Suites, only 3.7 miles southeast of Orlando. Or you can stay at the Hilton Resort at Walt Disney World for $413.00 located in Lake Buena Vista.

The benefit of staying as close as you can to the theme park is that you will not have to drive a great distance to and from the Magic Kingdom and waste precious time. In addition, by planning the weekend getaway beforehand, you will be able to select those areas in the park that are on the top of the list or, should we say, the kids’ list.

Given the current economy, it may not be possible to afford to stay on site in Disney World. Staying on site does have an advantage in that most hotels offer a free shuttle bus and/or rail service to the theme park. In addition, guests who stay at the on-site hotels are allowed to enter the park before guests who are staying at other properties further away.

Among the many recommendations in selecting hotel properties on site is to choose the Best Western. It is not only affordable, but offers a variety of amenities.

While Epcot Center, Universal Studios, and Sea World are an absolute joy to visit, a weekend doesn’t give you much time to visit all of these nearby attractions.

Thus, you may want to purchase the theme park tickets when you book your package. This will reduce the need to wait on lines and allow your family to go directly to the park upon arrival in Orlando.

In addition, Jet Blue is offering low fares to Orlando. If you want to lock in the cheap rates, now is the time to book your weekend getaway to Orlando. You can also check online or call your travel agent for more details.
