Halloween at Disneyland – The Perfect Scary Trip for Families
Vacationing at Disneyland is always a treat, but this October you can also find a private “Mickey’s Trick or Treat Party” beginning on October 2nd through the 31st.
Disneyland has gone all out to make this Halloween month a spectacular event, and Mickey’s special part is no exception. Tickets to this event are available from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and Halloween night from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The price is from $39 to $42, and can be ordered online through Disney.
In addition, you can also look forward to a myriad of events including entertainment and “treat stations” where the children can participate in making crafts for the event. The parade is also going to be a special one this year, with all the Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes.
But there is more going on outside Disneyland to celebrate Halloween. Here are the highlights:
- At Knott’s Berry Farm, the traditional Halloween Haunt event will commence, as well as weekend Halloween Treasure Hunts your kids will no doubt enjoy.
- At Legoland, there will be giant-sized pumpkins, a “Break or Treat Trail,” and a costume contest.
- At Six Flags Magic Mountain, there will be a “Fright Fest” from October 7th through the 31st. Here your family will have an opportunity to ride the “Scream” rollercoaster.
- At the San Diego Zoo, they are hosting a “Spooktacular” event just for the kids!
- Frontierland’s Big Thunder Ranch will have a petting “boo,” singalongs, and decorating cookies as well as some surprise visits from very famous characters.
- The staff at Disneyland is gearing up to tell their spooky stories at the Tower of Terror. Be sure to stop by.
- Be sure to visit the Haunted Mansion, touted as “the” place to be during this Halloween event.
This Disneyland Halloween vacation will encompass a massive number of decorations, not only in the park but at the entrance as well. Bring along your Halloween costumes as you participate in this traditional and fun-filled trip.
Disneyland has had a long tradition of providing the ultimate enjoyment for kids and adults. This Halloween season, why not take a trip and experience the perfect scary trip your family will long remember!
