Is there a "layaway" plan available for airline tickets? | Travel & Vacation Tips & Resources

Is there a “layaway” plan available for airline tickets?

panda2_80 asked:

I want to travel to Japan in December but can’t afford to pay for an airline ticket all at once? Do any of the major airlines offer a layaway plan or is there a reputable website that can do this? Like orbitz? Or is there someplace that offers student discounts?

How To Save On A Cruise Vacation

I do know that some travel agents will let you pay your trip off prior to your departure…..Or you can just put xx $ away each week until you have enough to purchase. If you can’t afford the ticket, can you afford to go? You’re going to need spending money as well.

Save Hundreds on a Cruise Vacation

Hi. Honestly, having had a visa in the U.S. for say at least six months, as you say, and just got a new one, do you really want an answer to your question or do you just like to ask questions? I ask that because you say you are planning to travel here and there and yet you seem to have no money. In answer to your question: No, in all my many years of living, I have never known of a “layaway plan” for airplane tickets from the U.S. Now student discounts is a possibility, if in fact you can prove you are presently a student. In that case, you would need to check with specific airlines. If you go to Ask.com and ask for the 1-800 numbers for all airlines in U.S. you will find a list of all the numbers. I don’t have it in front of me or I would tell you the site but that is how I found it. Good Luck!
