Day 1:  You will arrive at the airport and will be taken to the hotel where you will be staying with your family. The first day can be spent unpacking and studying some local maps and guidebooks on Panama City.

Day 2 and Day 3: The next two days will be spent in exploring the Chiriqui Highlands. The rainforests are beautiful and full of amazing wildlife. It is advisable to take rainwear and umbrella with you in case it rains. You will also see majestic volcanic peaks and coffee plantations.

In the famous Esti River  you will be able to enjoy activities like kayaking and white water rafting. The wild surroundings along with steep descents and challenging routes will be remembered for a long time to come.

The Zipline Canopy Tour in Panama’s cloud forest is another interesting activity. Traveling through 13 canopy platforms you will arrive in La Amistad International Park which is famous for its immense diversity of flora and fauna. The park is maintained by Costa Rica and Panama authorities and is an attraction for thousands of tourists from all over the world.

Day 4 and Day 5: Will be spent in Bocas Del Toro Archipelago. This region is composed of seven islands which offer a range of exciting activities including snorkeling and wildlife exploration. The sunny islands are a great place for relaxation with your family or spouse. You will also see amazing coral reefs and enjoy beautiful rain forests and beaches. The Bocas del Drago and Bluff Beach attract thousands of surfers each year.

Also included in the travel plan is an unforgettable hike in the Bastimentos National Marine Park. You will see sea turtles, jaguars, sloths, and other animals while exploring the region and snorkeling.

Day 6: You will see the great Panama Canal

Day 7 and Day 8: Will be spent exploring the surroundings. The adventure will be composed of seeing the massive engineering project in its entire vastness along with the daily activities of ships that pass through the panama canal. This is going to be a lifetime experience for the whole family.

Particularly important are the Miraflores Locks, the Embera Tribe and the Gutan Lake. Miraflores is the name given to one of the locks of the Panama Canal that lift vessels in three stages. These locks transport vessels from the Atlantic to the Pacific and back to the Atlantic.

Tour of the Embera Tribe (Panama Indians) is going to be totally enjoyable. Here you will get plenty of chances to take photographs of the local people and see how they live. You will also discover their ways of dancing and their interesting culture. You will be received with drum music played by the locals.

The kids will particularly enjoy a tour of the Gutan Lake. You will get a chance to see the enormous vessels moving close by. Animals like iguanas, crocodiles and peacocks will also be seen in this area. Be prepared to take amazing photos to take back home.

Day 9: you will return to your home city. This trip Panama Canal is definitely going to be one of the most memorable and enjoyable trips of your life.
