When should I buy plane tickets to europe?

I’m wondering if it would be better to buy my tickets now, well in advance, or maybe wait a little longer, I’ve noticed a bunch of summer discounts and deals they have going now and I was wondering if I wait until the beginning of august they might have special fall fares?
